Kambayer, a friend of ours who works as a nurse at Korla's Uyghur hospital. Chinese nurses have not yet adopted the colorful scrubs seen in American hospitals.

This is a very special portrait. She looks very elegant, well-composed and serious. I like the traditional Chinese nurse's look. I hope her culture does not adopt the silly costumes that American nurses wear.
